This job is for a Junior Developer position at a global freight forwarding and logistics company with a local office in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), Eastern Cape. The company is looking for someone who can work as part of a development team to create, improve, and maintain software solutions that help the business run smoothly.

As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building software programs from start to finish, writing clean, efficient code, and ensuring it works well without errors. You will also support the software post-release, fixing issues for both the company and its clients.

Key responsibilities include problem-solving, researching new technologies, collaborating with IT and logistics teams, and following strict code management rules to maintain organization and security.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong communication skills, and teamwork ability. Technical skills required include C#, .NET, MS SQL Server, REST APIs, GraphQL, and WCF. Experience with GitLab or Boomi is advantageous but not mandatory.

The company offers a competitive salary between R240,000 and R300,000 per year, depending on experience and skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for career growth in a dynamic industry.
