This job is for a Product Development Engineer to join a manufacturing team in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves creating, improving, and managing products to ensure they meet quality, performance, and manufacturing standards. You will work closely with teams in production, quality, and manufacturing to bring new and improved products to life.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products based on technical and customer needs.
- Improve existing products and manufacturing processes for efficiency.
- Create and update engineering drawings and product specifications using CAD software like SolidWorks.
- Manage product changes from initial idea to final production, including solving technical problems and ensuring designs meet standards.

Requirements:
- Qualification at NQF Level 7 in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., BEng, BSc, or Advanced Diploma).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, particularly in product design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and experience with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Instructions (ECIs).
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
