We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join a manufacturing team in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal. This role involves designing and improving products in a hands-on technical environment. The company operates in the supply chain and manufacturing industry, offering a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products meeting customer and technical standards.
- Improve existing products through design and manufacturing enhancements.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and product specifications.
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks) for product design and modifications.
- Manage product changes with proper documentation (ECNs, ECIs).
- Lead projects from concept to final production, collaborating with production, quality control, and manufacturing teams.

Requirements:
- NQF Level 7 qualification (BEng, BSc, or Advanced Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in product design/development.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and managing engineering changes.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to communicate technical details clearly to non-engineers.
