Managed People Solutions is offering an internship opportunity for young, unemployed TVET students who have completed their N6 Certificate and need to complete their 18-month workplace experience to qualify for their N6 Diploma. This program is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and is designed to help students gain practical work experience in a real industry setting.

As a Junior Merchandiser intern, your main tasks will include checking and managing stock on shelves, deciding which products need to be displayed, ensuring stock levels are correct, and verifying that items like vintage, quality, and price tags are accurate. You will follow a set schedule to update product displays as required. Part of your role will involve listening to customer complaints or questions and reporting them to the right team. You will need to keep up with product knowledge and promotions, record all merchandising activities clearly, and make phone calls as part of your assigned tasks. Additionally, you will help identify and report out-of-stock products to your supervisor.

To apply for this internship, you must be under 28 years old and hold an N6 TVET Certificate in one of the following fields: Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management. Since this is an internship, no prior work experience is required, but you should be eager to learn and work hard. You must also be available to work full-time for the full 18-month duration of the program.

This internship offers a monthly stipend of R3,500 to support you during your training period. The program will provide hands-on experience in merchandising, helping you build skills that will improve your chances of getting a permanent job in the future. You will work alongside experienced professionals in the wine and spirits industry, gaining valuable insights and connections.
