Managed People Solutions is offering an internship program for young, unemployed TVET students who have completed their N6 certificate and need workplace experience to qualify for their N6 Diploma. This opportunity is specifically for people living in or near Delft, Western Cape. The role is designed to help you gain real work experience in a retail or merchandising environment while learning from professionals in the wine and spirits industry.

As a Junior Merchandiser, your main tasks will include checking and organizing products in stores. You will determine which stock needs to be displayed and ensure products are in good condition, properly priced, and arranged according to company guidelines. You will also be responsible for keeping track of stock rotation to make sure older products are sold first. Part of your job will involve answering customer questions or complaints about products and promotions. You will need to record all your merchandising activities and follow a set schedule for store visits. Additionally, you will report any out-of-stock items to your supervisor and help maintain accurate records of all tasks completed.

To apply for this internship, you must be under 28 years old and have completed your N6 TVET certificate in one of these fields: Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management. You do not need prior work experience, but you should be eager to learn and willing to work hard. Since this is an entry-level position, your attitude, reliability, and willingness to follow instructions will be just as important as your qualifications. The internship is open only to unemployed individuals who are legally allowed to work in South Africa.

You will earn a monthly stipend of R3,500 for the duration of the 18-month internship. This program is a great way to build your resume, gain practical skills, and improve your chances of getting a permanent job in the future.
