This is a 12-month contract position for a Mine Manager with a mining company based in Hotazel, Northern Cape. The role involves overseeing all aspects of mining operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include managing life-of-mine planning, setting production targets, optimizing pit performance, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements. Leadership and support for mining/plant operations, cost control, and stakeholder management are key focuses. The ideal candidate must have completed Matric (Grade 12), hold a degree/diploma in Mining Engineering, possess a Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency, and have at least 10 years of experience in open-pit mining. A valid driver’s license is required. The salary is negotiable, and the role offers valuable experience in a leading mining operation.
