This job is for a Production Manager in the seafood industry, working at a company based in Atlantis Industrial, Western Cape. You will oversee daily production operations to ensure smooth, safe, and quality-focused operations. The role is permanent with a six-month probation period and requires flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage production to meet daily and shift targets.
- Ensure production lines, staff, and equipment are ready for on-time starts.
- Balance production lines, manage changeovers, and resolve bottlenecks.
- Track yield and waste, investigate losses, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Maintain production systems (Marel/Innova) and monitor KPIs.
- Lead and develop the production team, set shift priorities, and address performance issues.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Experience managing high-volume production teams and production planning.
- Knowledge of yield management, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of food safety, quality control, and traceability processes.
- Experience with production management systems (Marel/Innova) and Microsoft Office 365.
- Tertiary qualification in production, supply chain, or operations management preferred.
