Managed People Solutions is offering an internship opportunity for young, unemployed TVET students who have completed their N6 Certificate. This program is designed to help you gain practical work experience in Cape Town, Western Cape. The role is perfect for those who want to complete their 18-month workplace experience requirement to qualify for their N6 Diploma.

As a Junior Merchandiser intern, your main tasks will include checking and managing stock on shelves, determining which products need to be displayed, and ensuring they meet quality standards. You will verify product details such as vintage, price tags, and stock rotation. Following the merchandising cycle brief, you will arrange products as instructed and handle customer feedback regarding complaints or requests. You will also keep up-to-date knowledge about products and promotions, record all merchandising activities, and make scheduled calls as part of your duties. If products are out of stock, you will inform the Regional Sales Manager.

To qualify, you must be under 28 years old and have completed your N6 TVET Certificate in Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management. No prior work experience is required, but strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

You will receive a monthly stipend of R3,500 for the 18-month internship, gaining hands-on experience in merchandising, improving your skills, and building a professional network.
