This program is specifically for those who have completed their N6 TVET College Certificate and need to complete their 18-month workplace experience to qualify for their N6 Diploma. The internship focuses on providing hands-on experience in merchandising within the wine and spirits industry.

As a Junior Merchandiser, your main tasks will include checking and managing stock on shelves, determining which products need to be displayed, and ensuring they meet quality standards. This includes verifying vintage details, checking price tags, and arranging products correctly. You will also handle customer feedback, answer questions, and address complaints. Keeping accurate records of merchandising activities and making scheduled store calls are part of your role. If products are out of stock, you will report this to your Regional Sales Manager.

To apply, you must be under 28 years old and hold an N6 TVET Certificate in Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management. No prior merchandising experience is required, but a strong interest in retail, customer service, and attention to detail is beneficial. The internship lasts 18 months with a monthly stipend of R3,500 and provides valuable experience in the wine and spirits industry.
