This job is for an IT Technician to join a team in Paarl, Western Cape. The company provides IT services and solutions, requiring someone skilled in problem-solving, system management, and technology support. The role involves supporting human resources technology, ensuring smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage network and data security, including Active Directory, Group Policy, firewalls, antivirus, VoIP, and email security.
- Ensure data backups and recovery processes.
- Install, update, and maintain network equipment, wireless networks, and connections.
- Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, VoIP, and Wi-Fi for optimal performance.
- Design, set up, and support software/hardware, troubleshoot issues with computers, phones, and printers.
- Provide IT support to employees via phone, remote access, or on-site visits.
- Set up new equipment, collaborate with vendors, and maintain IT asset registers.

Requirements:
- Qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Entry-level experience in IT support preferred (not mandatory).
- Certifications like A+, N+, or MCSE are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Windows Server, Microsoft 365).
- Experience with UniFi, CCTV systems, and third-party software troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license for client visits.
