Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for casual cashiers to join their team in the Woodlands stores in Pretoria, Gauteng. The main goal is to provide excellent customer service at the point of sale while ensuring a smooth and secure shopping experience for all customers.

As a casual cashier, you will handle customer transactions using the Dis-Chem operating system, ensuring accuracy and fraud prevention. Responsibilities include processing payments (cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons), managing loyalty cards, handling returns/exchanges, and maintaining cash security. You will follow customer service policies, report complaints/compliments, apply sales/promotions, monitor cash flow, and assist with product inquiries.

Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate, 6+ months cashier/till experience, computer proficiency (Microsoft Office), strong numerical skills, good English, basic customer service skills, and willingness to work retail hours (evenings/weekends/holidays). A third language is advantageous. Must be a South African citizen with a clean criminal/credit record and reliable transport or live near the store.
