Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a Merchandiser to work in their Pietermaritzburg store. This role involves keeping the store well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Responsibilities include restocking shelves, unpacking deliveries, checking stock levels, and ensuring products are properly labeled and priced. You will assist with stock counts, setting up displays, and maintaining a neat and inviting store environment. Additional duties may include training new staff, assisting customers, and adhering to safety and health regulations. The ideal candidate should have completed Matric (Grade 12), preferably with some retail experience, and be comfortable using computers. Physical fitness and the ability to work during retail hours (including evenings and weekends) are required. Fluency in English and another language is advantageous. This is a contract position with opportunities for experience in the FMCG industry.
