This job is for a Solutions Engineer at Pedros, a company known for its restaurants. You will be based in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves working on small projects that connect different systems and tools used by Pedros, helping stores, operations, and finance teams work better.

What you will do:
- Work closely with Product Owners and business teams to gather requirements, map processes, and define success metrics.
- Design simple, maintainable solutions with clear documentation.
- Build and maintain integrations between POS, digital ordering, payment providers, and back-office tools using APIs, webhooks, and file-based methods.
- Develop internal tools and automation using Python, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, pulling data from Snowflake and other databases.
- Ensure proper testing (APIs, automated tests) and release projects to production with monitoring.
- Provide post-release support, troubleshooting, and vendor collaboration.

What you need:
- 2+ years of experience in software/integration engineering (requirements gathering, testing, or solution building).
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL, and PostgreSQL (Snowflake experience is a plus).
- Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with testing tools (Postman, Git, Docker, CI/CD) and AI tools (Claude/GitHub Copilot).
- Bonus: Experience with POS/payment/food-ordering platforms (Micros Simphony, Transaction Junction, Uber Eats, Mr D).
