This is a permanent position for an Environmental Management Officer at Eskom, based at Matla Power Station in Kriel, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on managing environmental responsibilities within the power generation business to ensure compliance with laws and sustainable practices. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining the ISO 14001 environmental management system, ensuring compliance with environmental laws, developing environmental management plans, and handling environmental authorizations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Natural Sciences or Environmental Management with at least 360 credits at NQF Level 7, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
