This role is for an Export Controller at Oceana Group Limited, a leading company in the fishing industry based in Cape Town, Western Cape. Oceana Group specializes in catching, processing, and distributing products like canned fish, fishmeal, fish oil, and lobster. The role involves managing export documentation, coordinating with shipping lines, and ensuring smooth operations for export contracts. Key responsibilities include preparing export documents, submitting Letters of Credit (LC) and Customs and Declarations (CAD), tracking container deliveries, and maintaining customer communication. Qualifications include 5+ years of shipping/export control experience, knowledge of Incoterms and LCs, customs clearing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. ERP system knowledge is a plus. The position is full-time, with a focus on supporting Oceana Group's mission and contributing to Employment Equity.
