Assmang is looking for a motivated and skilled Junior Geologist to join their team at the Black Rock Mine Operations, located about 80 kilometers northwest of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. The role involves providing geological support to mining and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and decision-making for mining activities at the shaft level
- Support production teams to meet targets by ensuring quality of mined product
- Conduct sampling and quality checks of mined materials
- Maintain accurate geological records and databases
- Perform underground mapping and resource modeling
- Provide reports and interpretations to support mining operations
- Assist with exploration work and investigate incidents like rock falls
- Participate in continuous improvement projects

Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12
- Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Geology
- Valid driver’s license (Code B or EB)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a geologist
