A consulting engineering firm based in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team starting in January 2027. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in electrical building services who wants to work in a professional, multidisciplinary team on various building projects.

**Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop electrical systems for different types of buildings.
- Prepare and review detailed electrical engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents.
- Plan and deliver electrical building services projects in coordination with architects, engineers, and other team members.
- Interpret project specifications and provide technical input during construction.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and technical submissions.

**Requirements:**
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng, BSc, or BTech) or related qualification.
- Experience in consulting engineering, particularly in electrical building services.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and relevant standards.
- Experience with commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or data center projects is advantageous.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
- Registration with ECSA is a plus but not required.
