This job is for a Supply Chain Planner at Pedros, a company known for its restaurant operations. The role is based in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, planning supply, and ensuring smooth operations across the company’s network to avoid supply disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage a detailed supply plan to meet demand while keeping costs low.
- Develop a national supply plan considering supplier capacity, warehouse space, transport routes, and production limits.
- Monitor stock and replenishment needs daily during peak times.
- Manage stock health, identify slow-moving/damaged/obsolete items, and reduce supply chain risks.
- Handle supplier claims for shortages, damages, or pricing issues.
- Report on supply chain performance and track key metrics.
- Supervise trainees and interns to ensure performance standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in supply chain or operations planning.
- Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with large datasets and planning tools.
- Professional certification (e.g., SAPICS CPIM) is a plus.
