What you will do: As a Junior Merchandiser Intern, your main tasks will include checking and managing stock to ensure stores have the right products available. You will also keep track of stock levels, report any issues to your manager, and ensure promotions are set up properly. Another important part of the job is visiting stores as part of a scheduled cycle to check on product availability and advise the Regional Sales Manager about any out-of-stock items. You will also need to keep detailed records of your work and stay updated on new products and promotions.

What you need: To apply for this internship, you must be under 28 years old and currently unemployed. You should not have done a similar internship before. The most important qualification is an N6 Certificate in either Marketing Management or Business Management. Since this is an internship, no prior experience in merchandising is required, but you should be detail-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn quickly.

What you will get: You will earn a monthly stipend of R3,500 for this 18-month internship, which is part of the TVET N6 program. The work schedule is 9 hours per day, including a lunch break.
