Faircape is looking for a skilled Handyman to work at their luxury retirement and lifestyle villages in Somerset West, Western Cape. Faircape manages six beautiful villages across the Western Cape, including places like Noordhoek, Kirstenhof, and Tokai. The job is based at two specific estates, Heritage Manor and Bridgewater Manor, where you will help keep everything in great shape for residents.

What you will do:
- Fix and maintain buildings, facilities, and equipment across the two estates.
- Handle general repairs like doors, windows, locks, and small building tasks such as plastering, painting, and tiling.
- Deal with everyday maintenance requests from residents and staff.
- Perform minor plumbing and basic electrical work.
- Report and coordinate access for contractors for bigger problems.
- Regularly inspect buildings and equipment to spot potential issues.
- Use and maintain tools and equipment properly.
- Assist with general estate tasks like moving furniture and keeping work areas tidy.

What you need:
- At least 2 years of experience as a handyman or in general maintenance.
- Experience with building repairs, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and tiling.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.
- Physically fit, able to work independently, and prioritize tasks well.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional attitude.
