This job is for a Civil Draughtsperson to join a consulting engineering team in Durbanville, Cape Town. You will work on big infrastructure projects alongside engineers and technicians. The role involves creating detailed technical drawings and supporting the team during design, planning, and construction.

What you will do:
- Create and update civil engineering drawings (layouts, plans, construction details)
- Use software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D for technical drawings (roads, earthworks, stormwater, water, sewer systems)
- Interpret survey data, engineering calculations, and design instructions
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, and architectural engineers
- Check drawings for errors and update them as needed
- Assist with quantity take-offs, tender documents, and site visits

What you need:
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Draughting, or related technical field
- 2-5 years of civil draughting experience (consulting engineering/infrastructure preferred)
- Strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D experience is a plus)
- Ability to prepare drawings for roads, earthworks, stormwater, water reticulation, and sewer infrastructure
- Understanding of South African standards and municipal drawing requirements
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle access for site visits
