This job is for a Data Analyst at the Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA), located in Midrand, Gauteng. SASSETA is a government organization focused on education and training in the safety and security sector. The role is a permanent position with a contract ending on 31 March 2030.

Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing data profiles and ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Identifying data errors and suggesting improvements for data collection and management
- Handling special data analysis requests and creating tools for grant-related reviews
- Preparing and publishing official job advertisements and answering queries about the Discretionary Grant process
- Managing grant applications, conducting site visits, and preparing reports
- Tracking contract progress, managing payments, and preparing performance reports

Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) completion
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Science
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, information management, or business analysis
- Intermediate computer proficiency and valid driver’s license
- Professionalism, strong ethics, attention to detail, and good communication skills
