What the job is: This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser Intern to join a team in the liquor and retail industry. What you will do: As a Junior Merchandiser Intern, your main tasks will include checking and organizing stock to ensure the right products are available in-store. You will inspect products for quality, ensure pricing is correct, and arrange them according to company standards. You will also keep track of customer feedback and report any issues or requests to the team. Another important part of the job is maintaining accurate records of merchandising activities and monitoring stock levels to avoid shortages. You will visit stores as part of your duties, following a set schedule, and inform the Regional Sales Manager about any products that are out of stock.

What you need: To apply for this internship, you must be under 28 years old and currently unemployed. You should not have participated in a similar internship before. The most important qualification is an N6 Certificate in either Marketing Management or Business Management. Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team are also important. Since this role involves working in stores, you should be comfortable with physical tasks and able to handle a busy work environment.

What you will get: This internship offers a monthly stipend of R3,500. The contract lasts for 18 months as part of the TVET N6 program. You will work 9 hours per day, including a lunch break.
