What the job is: This is a Junior Merchandiser Intern position with Managed People Solutions, based in Kraaifontein, Western Cape. What you will do: As a Junior Merchandiser Intern, your main tasks will include checking which products need to be arranged in the store. You will ensure the right stock is always available and in good condition, inspecting products to confirm they are fresh, correctly priced, and displayed according to company rules. You will set up products neatly, keep records of what is sold, and report any issues like missing items or customer complaints. Another important part of the job is staying updated on promotions and ensuring the store follows the schedule for checking products. You will also help the Regional Sales Manager by informing them about any products that are not available in the store.

What you need: To apply for this internship, you must be under 28 years old and currently unemployed. You should not have done a similar internship before. You need to have completed your N6 qualification in either Marketing Management or Business Management. The role requires someone who is energetic, reliable, and pays attention to detail. Since this is an internship, no prior experience in merchandising is needed, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

What you will get: You will earn a monthly stipend of R3,500 for this 18-month internship, which is part of the TVET N6 program. The work schedule is 9 hours per day, including a break for lunch.
