This job is for a Data Engineer to work with a technology company based in Johannesburg. The company creates digital platforms, websites, apps, and online stores for small and medium-sized businesses. What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Azure tools.
- Develop reports and interactive dashboards with Power BI.
- Set up and manage Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
- Create automated solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows for automated updates.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency.

What you need:
- Degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of Data Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Strong API and ETL/ELT process experience.
- Familiarity with C# is a plus.
- Comfort with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
