This job is for a Payroll Accountant at Fidelity Services Group, a company that provides security and related services. You will be based in Roodepoort, Gauteng, and will work on managing payroll financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing and processing monthly provisions and accruals to ensure accurate financial records
- Handling PSIRA administration, returns, and compliance
- Checking weekly payroll runs for accuracy
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing tax directives and ensuring compliance with UIF declarations
- Submitting IRP5 forms to employees when requested
- Assisting in preparing monthly and year-end statutory accounts for SARS, including EMP201 and EMP501 submissions
- Checking and complying with retirement fund rates and rules, as well as bargaining council rates
- Handling IT88 SARS monthly downloads, reconciliations, and deductions
- Managing medical aid reconciliations and submissions
- Reviewing financial records for accuracy and advising on discrepancies

Requirements:
- Completed Matric/Grade 12
- BCom Financial Accounting degree
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a payroll environment
- Familiarity with SAP accounting software (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
- Experience in preparing reconciliations
- Clear criminal record
- Reliable transport and residence in the West Rand area
