This is not a job for a specific position right now, but rather a way to keep a list of suitable candidates for future openings in 2027. What you will do:
- Deliver lectures and assessments in IT-related degree and certificate programs.
- Provide feedback to students and use the learning management system to design and teach modules.
- Develop and update the curriculum to align with industry trends.
- Check assessments for fairness, supervise exams, and offer academic support.
- Follow quality standards, participate in research, and collaborate with colleagues and industry partners.

What you need:
- Minimum: Honours degree (NQF8) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree (NQF9) for Lecturer role, PhD required for Senior Lecturer.
- Strong skills in programming (Python, Java, C++), networking, databases, and software development.
- Experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or IT governance is advantageous.
- Teaching experience at higher education level or professional IT experience preferred.
- Certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP, AWS, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
