This is a 2-month contract position for a Financial Accountant at Pump and Abrasion Technologies, a company operating in the mining and metals industry. The role is based in Centurion, Gauteng. Responsibilities include managing the full accounting function, preparing monthly journals, reconciling accounts, handling VAT calculations, and assisting with annual financial statements and audits. Tax-related tasks include calculating corporate income tax, submitting SARS e-filing returns, and managing loans. Administrative duties include financial reporting, profit forecasting, and budget planning. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 3-5 years of experience, and membership with SAIPA or SAICA. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Syspro software is preferred.
