This job is for an Electrical Engineer or Technologist to work with a company in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing electrical systems for buildings, infrastructure, and municipal projects. The role involves hands-on work in both urban and rural settings, ensuring electrical networks and installations meet safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for various projects, including water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and other infrastructure.
- Manage medium voltage (MV) networks and distribution systems.
- Oversee solar PV, fire detection, and other electrical/electronic installations.
- Handle contract administration, construction monitoring, and preparing tender documentation.
- Provide regular reports to clients and project managers.

Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering degree or diploma.
- 5 to 10 years of experience post-qualification.
- Registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) preferred.
- Experience with medium voltage networks, urban/rural electrical reticulation, and distribution systems.
- Proficiency in Relux and AutoCAD; experience with DIALux, Revit MEP, and BIM/ACC is advantageous.
