This job is for a Structural Engineer to work with a client company in Northriding, Johannesburg. The role is permanent and involves designing and analyzing structures to ensure safety and stability. You will be part of the Engineering division, working on projects related to architecture and planning.

What you will do:
- Design structural elements for buildings and other projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Analyze structural failures and investigate causes, particularly for forensic engineering cases.
- Write detailed technical reports explaining findings and designs.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.

What you need:
- Degree in Structural Engineering.
- At least 5 years of practical design experience.
- Registration as a Candidate or Professional Engineer with ECSA.
- Strong writing skills for technical reports.
- Experience in forensic structural engineering is advantageous.
