This is a full-time, permanent remote position for an Operations Manager at Catch, a fast-growing fintech company based in South Africa. Catch specializes in investment opportunities and international money transfers, offering cutting-edge financial services. The company is currently in a high-growth phase, expanding its operations and seeking someone to streamline and improve processes as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and improve operational processes for core services (forex, arbitrage, investment products).
- Create and maintain SOPs for BOP reporting, AIT applications, client onboarding, and transaction processing.
- Act as operational owner for new products, including investment products distributed through external partners.
- Monitor process adherence, identify operational risks, and implement controls.
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve backend systems and gather requirements for system changes.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency in documentation, analysis, and reporting.
- Train teams on new/updated processes and continuously improve efficiency, scalability, and risk reduction.

Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in operations within financial services, forex, payments, or investments.
- Strong understanding of South African exchange control processes (BOP reporting, AIT applications).
- Experience with FICA/KYC onboarding and writing SOPs.
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude) for process improvements.
- Relevant degree/diploma in commerce, finance, or business. Regulatory/compliance qualification preferred.
