This is a contract position for the Academic Head of Department in the Department of Public Administration and Management at the University of the Free State (UFS). The role is based primarily at the Bloemfontein Campus, with some work expected at the Qwaqwa Campus. The contract is for 5 years, with renewal possible. Only full-time, permanent academic staff currently working in the same department at UFS will be considered. Responsibilities include leading departmental strategy, teaching, research, staff management, and external collaboration. Requirements: PhD in Public Administration or related field, full-time permanent academic staff status, and leadership experience.
