What the job is: This is a full-time job for a Skin Therapist working as a mobile therapist (called a 'Roamer') for Dermalogica, the world’s number one skincare brand. You will travel to different stores in Cape Town, Western Cape, to provide treatments and help grow the business. What you will do: As a Skin Therapist at Dermalogica, your main job will be to perform professional skincare treatments following the brand’s high standards. You will need to meet monthly sales and treatment targets and keep track of your daily progress. Every time you see a new customer, you will do a full skin consultation and create a detailed face map to understand their skin needs. After each visit, you must update their records in the store’s computer system.

You will also help customers buy skincare products and follow up with them after their treatments or purchases. This could be through phone calls or emails to check how their skin is doing. Besides treatments, you will help with store tasks like attending meetings, training sessions, managing stock, unpacking deliveries, and running sales promotions. Keeping the treatment area clean and well-stocked, including the product display shelves and the skin bar, will also be part of your role.

What you need: To apply for this job, you must have a Skin Care Qualification at NQF Level 4, which means you should have studied full-time for at least two years. Since this is a retail job, you will need to work evenings and weekends, so flexibility is important. You should have a strong passion for skincare and sales, with a proven track record of selling products or services. Being confident when talking to customers and being self-motivated are key skills for this role. Basic computer skills, like using Microsoft Office, will also be useful. If you have worked with Dermalogica before, that would be a big advantage.
