Responsibilities include developing annual conservation plans, organizing ecological monitoring (aerial surveys, camera traps, animal collaring), maintaining ecological databases, and overseeing habitat and species management (elephant, lion, antelope, black rhino). The position also involves building research partnerships, publishing findings, and leading a team in a remote environment. Requirements include a degree in ecology/wildlife management, 3+ years of experience, knowledge of African savanna ecology, and strong organizational and communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory; French/Chadian Arabic are a plus. The role is a 24-month contract with opportunities to contribute to wildlife protection and ecosystem restoration.
