What the job is: This is a full-time job at homechoice, a well-known South African homeware store. They have been helping customers create beautiful, affordable homes for over 40 years. You will work at the Rustenburg Mall showroom, assisting customers and selling products every day, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role is flexible, meaning you will work shifts to cover all hours of the day.

What you will do: You will help customers by talking to them on the showroom floor to understand what they need and then guide them to buy products. This means showing them how products work, explaining prices, and making sure they leave happy with what they bought. You will also help customers open accounts, take orders, and process payments.

You will make sure customers have a great experience from start to finish, including helping them choose products, taking their orders, and handling payments. If a customer has a problem, you will try to solve it or pass it on to your supervisor. You must always be friendly, professional, and honest with customers.

You will need to know all the products, their prices, and any special offers. This means keeping up to date with new products, promotions, and sales. You will also help with small tasks like moving stock, keeping the showroom clean, and making sure everything looks nice for customers.

What you need: You must have completed Matric (Grade 12) as the minimum qualification. Some experience in retail sales is helpful, but not always required. You should be comfortable talking to customers and working in a busy environment. You must be able to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

It would be great if you had experience selling homeware products before, but it is not required. You must have a clean criminal record and a good credit record. You should be friendly, confident, and able to work well under pressure.
