Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd (SSK), a co-operative business based in Swellendam, Western Cape, has been serving its members since 1931. They focus on supporting agriculture, offering financing, and providing expert advice to farmers. SSK is looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead their technology and digital strategy. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Swellendam.

**What you will do:**
As the Chief Information Officer, you will lead the technology and digital transformation of SSK. Your main responsibilities include developing and implementing technology strategies to improve business growth and efficiency. You will oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise architecture to ensure secure, reliable, and up-to-date systems. Collaboration with the Executive team and Board on technology trends, risks, and opportunities is expected. Additionally, you will manage technology budgets, partnerships, and teams while ensuring compliance with regulations.

**What you need:**
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (postgraduate qualification preferred).
- Over 10 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or technology leadership.
- Strong background in enterprise technology strategies, cybersecurity, data governance, and IT risk.
- Experience managing complex technology environments, budgets, suppliers, and transformation programs.
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary technology teams.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
