What the job is: This job is for a Store Manager at PEP Home, a new store opening in Doringkloof Mall in Gauteng. You will be responsible for leading a team to ensure the store runs smoothly, meets sales targets, and keeps costs under control. The role is permanent, and you will be part of a growing retail business.

What you will do: You will focus on growing sales by ensuring customers have a great experience and the store looks clean and well-organized. This includes managing stock, running promotions, and maintaining store presentation. You will ensure stock and funds are handled securely to prevent theft or loss, following all security protocols. You will also control costs by improving efficiency without additional spending, handle all required paperwork, and lead a team of employees through training, coaching, and support. The store must remain clean, safe, and well-maintained for customers and staff.

What you need: You need to have completed Grade 12 (Matric) and be proficient in English. A degree or diploma in business or retail is advantageous but not required. Experience in retail, particularly in leadership roles like assistant manager or store supervisor (1-2 years), is ideal. Comfort with computers and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools is expected. Passion for retail, customer service, honesty, and the ability to handle pressure in a busy environment are essential. Strong communication and leadership skills are mandatory.
