This is a senior role for a PR Group Account Director at a fast-growing communications agency based in Johannesburg. The company specializes in combining strategy, creativity, and digital expertise to help build strong brands. They are looking for someone with deep experience in financial services and corporate communications to lead their client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client accounts and develop communications strategies aligned with business goals.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (CEOs, board members) for effective communication.
- Provide expert advice on reputation management, risk communication, and crisis handling.
- Create and oversee integrated PR, digital, and communications campaigns.
- Translate complex financial topics into compelling stories for public/media engagement.
- Lead and mentor account teams, ensuring high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
- Manage multiple client accounts, budgets, and track campaign performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.

Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in agency client service, preferably in financial services, banking, fintech, or corporate communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Strong leadership, strategic communications, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
