A well-known, busy restaurant located at the waterfront in Cape Town is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead their team. This is a full-time, permanent position in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant that needs a strong leader to manage daily operations and ensure excellent service during busy seasons.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Manage restaurant finances, including profit and loss statements, daily expenses, and budgeting
- Handle invoices, supplier payments, and stock control
- Lead and motivate a large team of staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Provide excellent dining experience for guests

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant (not fast-food chains)
- Strong financial and operational management skills
- Experience with large invoices and inventory systems
- Ability to work under pressure and lead teams effectively
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
