This is a full-time leadership position for an experienced engineering professional to manage plant engineering projects in the mineral processing industry. Ligpos Employment Agency is hiring for a senior role based in Benoni, Gauteng, where you will oversee large-scale, complex projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include leading a team responsible for delivering engineering solutions for mineral processing plants, managing all stages of a project (tender, concept development, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, testing, and handover), and coordinating mechanical, process, electrical, and instrumentation engineering teams. The role requires defining and controlling project scope, managing change requests, ensuring compliance with SHERQ and ISO 9001 standards, and driving quality control. Additionally, you will manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and project schedules across multiple concurrent projects, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders.
