This is a contract-based Roaming Store Manager position at Toys R Us and Babies R Us in Cape Town, Western Cape. The company is known for being the 'World's Greatest Toy Stores,' with over 50 stores across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and Zambia, as well as an online store. Your role will focus on ensuring customers—from kids to grandparents—get an amazing shopping experience with great products and excellent value. As the Roaming Store Manager, you will meet sales targets while delivering top-notch customer service, plan store operations, lead and mentor staff, and work closely with sales teams and regional managers to review sales strategies. Responsibilities include creating an 'AWESOME' customer experience, training and motivating the team, managing budgets, controlling expenses, reducing theft/damage, overseeing stock management, and executing sales promotions. Qualifications: Matric certificate with at least 3 years of retail experience, including 3 years of management experience. Must have own or reliable transport for roaming shifts.
