This job is for a Handyman Assistant working in Matatiele, Eastern Cape. They support corporate clients with maintenance and repair services, and this role is part of their operations team.

As a Handyman Assistant, you will help the main handyman with general maintenance and repairs at different client sites. Your tasks will include assisting with carpentry work, painting, fixing ceilings, drywall repairs, basic masonry, plumbing, and tiling. You will also prepare tools and materials for jobs, help with inspections, and report any issues you find. Another important part of the job is using a smartphone and mobile apps to track tasks, fill out digital job cards, and send updates to the handyman and operations manager. You may also need to respond quickly to emergency repairs or planned maintenance tasks, and follow all safety rules at all times.
