This job is for a Sales and Business Development Executive at Moshate Communications, a company based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will be responsible for growing the company’s business by finding new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. The role involves selling event management, conferences, exhibitions, corporate functions, and communication services to corporate, government, and private-sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a yearly sales plan to meet revenue targets.
- Identify new markets, sectors, and potential clients.
- Develop strategies to increase sales from both new and existing customers.
- Actively reach out to potential clients through networking, referrals, industry events, LinkedIn, and procurement portals.
- Set up meetings and presentations with decision-makers like marketing directors, communications executives, procurement managers, and government officials.
- Manage client relationships by regularly checking in with existing clients and expanding service offerings.
- Handle tenders and proposals by collaborating with events, creative, finance, and operations teams.
- Maintain a detailed sales pipeline tracking client names, event dates, project values, and next steps.

Requirements:
- Experience in sales and business development, preferably in events, marketing, or communications.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in managing sales pipelines, handling tenders, and working with corporate clients.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and government operations is advantageous.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure.
