This job is for a Panel Beater to work at a camp in Maasai Mara, Kenya. Wilderness Safaris is looking for someone skilled in repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork. The role involves working in their automotive repair workshop, where you will fix damaged vehicles and ensure they are restored to their original condition. This is a contract position based in the beautiful Maasai Mara region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicle damage and determine required repairs.
- Communicate repair costs to customers and obtain approval.
- Plan and execute repairs, including fixing dents, replacing rusted parts, and repainting panels.
- Handle custom modifications if requested.
- Use tools like hydraulic lifters, pneumatic saws, welding equipment, and body repair kits.
- Follow workplace safety protocols and collaborate with the workshop supervisor.

Requirements:
- Completed trade school or college with 2-3 years of technical training.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy diesel maintenance or as a tire and lube technician.
- Experience with diesel/gasoline engines and fleet vehicles.
- Basic skills in gas and arc welding; auto wiring experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, detail orientation, and hand-eye coordination.
- Passion for wildlife and sustainability.
