What the job is

This is a job for a Skin Therapist at Dermalogica, a leading skincare brand. The position is based at the Gateway Concept store in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Dermalogica is looking for passionate and driven professionals to join their team and help promote their products and services.

What you will do

You will perform skin treatments and follow Dermalogica’s standards for all procedures. You will be responsible for meeting monthly sales targets and tracking daily goals. You will conduct detailed skin consultations and Face Mapping for new clients, updating their records in the system. You will assist customers with product purchases and follow up with them after sales or treatments to check on their results. You will also participate in store activities like meetings, workshops, and inventory management. Additionally, you will keep the treatment and work areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.

What you need

You must have a Skin Care Qualification at NQF Level 4, which requires at least 2 years of full-time study. You should be available to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends. You need a strong passion for sales and a proven track record in retail. Confidence in engaging with customers and self-motivation are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required. Previous experience with Dermalogica products is a plus.
