What the job is

This is a job for a Biokineticist in the Western Cape province. A Biokineticist is a healthcare professional who specializes in using exercise and movement to help people recover from injuries, improve their fitness, or manage chronic conditions. This role is based in the Western Cape area.

What you will do

You will assess patients to understand their physical needs and health goals. You will design personalized exercise programs to help clients recover from injuries or improve their overall health. You will monitor and adjust these programs based on the progress and feedback from clients. You will educate clients on how to perform exercises correctly and safely. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for your patients.

What you need

You must have a degree in Biokinetics or a related field to qualify for this role. You need to be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Biokineticist. Experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is highly preferred. Strong communication skills are essential to explain treatments and motivate clients. You should have a good understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
