What the job is

This is a Fire Systems Engineer position at Fidelity Services Group, based in Midrand, Gauteng. The role focuses on selling and managing fire detection, gas suppression, and maintenance services for businesses in commercial, mining, and industrial sectors.

What you will do

You will find and develop new sales opportunities, mainly through cold calling, to grow the business. You will prepare quotes and proposals, manage client accounts, and stay updated on industry trends and competitors. You will also handle technical tasks like reading drawings, ensuring installations meet standards, and managing your own projects and deadlines. Travel may be required for work.

What you need

You need at least five years of experience in fire industry sales, especially with integrated systems. You must know industry standards like SANS10139 and SANS322 and have FDIA design qualifications. SAQCC registration is required. Strong sales skills, report writing, and computer literacy are essential. You must have a valid driver’s license, passport, and reliable transport. Willingness to travel within South Africa and abroad is a must.
