What the job is

This is a job for a Learning Content Designer at Raizcorp, based in Sandton, Gauteng. The company is looking for someone who can research, write, and design learning materials that are clear, engaging, and professional. You will work on creating content for online, virtual, and in-person learning programs, making sure it is easy to understand and visually appealing.

What you will do

You will develop and update learning materials such as slide decks, workbooks, and digital content for various Raizcorp programs. You will research new topics and create structured learning frameworks. You will write, edit, and refine content to ensure it is effective and aligned with its purpose. You will design and format materials to make them visually strong and easy to use. You will review content created by others, including internal teams and external providers. You will help maintain and improve instructional design standards and processes. You will manage the development of learning content, track progress, and coordinate with subcontractors when needed. You will also contribute to digital learning platforms and update existing materials based on feedback.

What you need

You need at least 5 years of experience in content development, learning design, instructional design, copywriting, graphic design, or a related field. You must have strong English skills, both written and academic, and a relevant 3-year qualification in writing, communications, education, or similar fields. You should have a strong portfolio showing your writing, thinking, and design abilities. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite, and comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT. You should understand how adults learn and how to make content practical and engaging. Strong planning, organization, and deadline management skills are also required.

What you will get

The salary for this permanent position ranges from R360,000 to R480,000 per year. You will have the opportunity to shape high-quality learning experiences and work in a role that combines thinking, writing, and design. The work is based on-site in Sandton, Gauteng.
