What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Medical Aid Sales Consultant at Bestmed Medical Scheme, based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role involves promoting Bestmed as the preferred medical aid option for new members and helping them choose the right plan.

What you will do

You will recruit new members to Bestmed and ensure they are matched with the best medical scheme option for their needs. You will guide prospective members through the registration process and make sure they understand their choices. You will also ensure that the members you sign up have a healthy risk profile and are placed on a suitable option to increase their long-term satisfaction. Additionally, you will follow all regulatory requirements, including treating customers fairly, conducting suitability analyses, providing appropriate advice, and maintaining accurate records.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics (Symbol E or higher) or Maths Literacy (Symbol C or higher). A tertiary qualification, such as a National Diploma or Degree, is also required. You need at least 3 years of experience in a sales role. You must pass the FAIS Regulatory Exam 5 for Representatives within 24 months of starting the job.
