What the job is

This is a job for a Shift Supervisor at Alliance Foods SA (Pty) Ltd. in East London. The company is part of the hospitality industry, and the role involves working in a restaurant setting. You will report to the Restaurant General Manager and help manage daily operations during your shifts.

What you will do

You will supervise team members to ensure they follow company policies, procedures, and standards for product quality, cleanliness, customer service, and safety. You will manage shifts to maximize sales, efficiency, and profitability. You will assign tasks to employees and check their performance. You will make sure maintenance procedures are followed and report any repair needs. You will also help implement training programs for staff and ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers. Additionally, you will support the company’s values and act as a role model for the team.

What you need

You must be fluent in English and have good math skills. You should know how to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. You need at least 12 months of experience in a management position. You must have a Grade 12 certificate (NQF Level 4), and a related tertiary qualification is preferred. You should also be certified as an All Star with an Individual Development Plan in place. A passion for product quality and customer service, along with pride in the KFC brand, is essential.
